Eddie Hearn fighter aiming to become undisputed champion
Ellie Scotney is targeting undisputed status at junior featherweight after becoming unified champion with a one-sided win against Segolene Lefebvre in Manchester.
Scotney was in control for large portions of the bout and her dominance was confirmed when the scorecards were announced.
Guided by the legendary McGuigan family, Scotney was escorted to the ring by another popular fight figure in Manchester’s very own Billy Graham.
The former trainer guided Ricky Hatton all the way to his world title and was in his corner for memorable fights against Kostya Tszyu and Floyd Mayweather.
In her post fight interview, Scotney insisted that she wants to hold all four world title belts in her weight class and that could mean future showdowns against Erika Cruz and Yamileth Mercado.
