West Bromwich Albion forması giyen milli futbolcu Okay Yokuşlu’nun Huddersfield ağlarına gönderdiği gol, İngiltere Championship’te mart ayının en iyi golü seçildi.

İngiltere Championship’te mart ayının enleri belli oldu. West Bromwich Albion’un, Huddersfield’ı 4-1 mağlup ettiği karşılaşmada West Bromwich forması giyen milli futbolcu Okay Yokuşlu’nun attığı gol, ligde mart ayının en iyi golü seçildi. Championship’in resmi internet sitesine konuya ilişkin açıklama yapan Okay, “Bu ödülü kazandığım için gerçekten çok mutlu ve gururluyum. Gol, takım için harika bir andı ve benim için de harikaydı, çünkü önceki gün benim doğum günümdü ve bu mükemmel bir hediyeydi. Vurduğum anı hatırlıyorum, gol olacağından oldukça emindim. Çok iyi bir goldü ve muhtemelen şimdiye kadar attığım en iyi gollerden biriydi” ifadelerini kullandı.

30 yaşındaki futbolcu, sıralamada takım arkadaşı Mikey Johnston, Norwich City’den Gabriel Sara ve QPR’den Jimmy Dunne’ı geride bıraktı.
