HAL dividend record date 2024: Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) unveiled its financial achievements for the December quarter on February 12. Alongside this, the public sector undertaking (PSU) also announced an interim dividend of 440 per cent, or Rs 22 per equity share. “The Board of Directors of the Company has declared first interim dividend of Rs 22 per equity share of Rs 5/- each fully paid up (440 per cent) for the Financial Year 2023-24,” the company said in a notification to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

A dividend is a portion of a company’s earnings distributed to its shareholders as a reward for their investment. The interim dividend refers to a payout made before a company’s annual earnings are finalised.

HAL Dividend Record Date 2024

Regarding the record date for HAL’s interim dividend, the corporation has said that, “as informed earlier, record date for the payment of first interim dividend will be Tuesday, the 20th February, 2024.”

The record date is a set date by the company to determine which shareholders are eligible to receive the dividend. Only those holding shares on or before this date are entitled to the dividend payout.

HAL Share Price And Past Returns

Shares of HAL were trading down by 1.35 per cent at Rs 3036.55 apiece on Monday around 12:30 pm.

Year-to-date (YTD), HAL has rewarded its investors with a notable 7.34 per cent return on their investment. Over the past six months, the shares have performed even more impressively, delivering a substantial return of 60.25 per cent. Looking at the one-year mark, HAL’s shares have generated a remarkable 129.92 per cent return, significantly outpacing the BSE Sensex’s growth of 19.26 per cent during the same period. Over a three-year span, HAL has continued to outperform, with a massive return of 472.10 per cent, whereas the BSE Sensex has offered a return of 42.96 per cent.
