Epic Games Store Giving Away 3 Free Games on February 22
- Epic Games Store is giving away three Fallout games for free starting on February 22.
- Users have until February 22 to claim the current free game, Dakar Desert Rally, before it is replaced by the Fallout games.
- The three Fallout games being given away have received positive reviews and are highly regarded by fans, but some users may have already claimed them during a previous promotion.
Starting February 22, Epic Games Store users are free to claim Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel completely free of charge. Most of the time, the Epic Games Store gives away one or two free games per week, which makes the announcement that three Fallout games will be free next week all the more exciting.
Before Epic Games Store users can snag the Fallout games, they have the chance to grab the current EGS free game. Replacing Doki Doki Literature Club and Lost Castle, racing game Dakar Desert Rally is free on the Epic Games Store from February 15 to February 22. Dark Desert Rally earned mixed reviews at the time of its original release in 2022, but you can’t beat free, and so Epic Games Store users should still claim it for their digital libraries while they still can.

Epic Games Store: A Comprehensive List Of Every Free Game It’s Had To Date
Here’s a list of all the titles that have ever been made available for free on the Epic Games Store.
Darak Desert Rally is the Epic Games Store free game from February 15 to February 22, at which point it will be replaced by the previously mentioned Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. The first two Fallout games are some of the most beloved and influential RPGs ever made, laying the foundation for the blockbuster first-person RPG Bethesda games that would follow. Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel earned mostly positive reviews at the time of its release in 2001, with the spin-off focusing on turn-based combat as opposed to open world exploration.
Epic Games Store Free Games February 2024
- Dakar Desert Rally (February 15 – February 22)
- Fallout (February 22 – February 29)
- Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel (February 22 – February 29)
- Fallout 2 (February 22 – February 29)
All three of these classic Fallout games are highly regarded by franchise fans, and PC gamers that have yet to play them should be sure to jump on this opportunity to get them for free. That being said, those that have been sure to claim every Epic Games Store free game since the launcher’s release will already have these three titles as part of their collection. Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel were given away for free through the Epic Games Store during its 2022 mystery game promotion. However, Epic Games Store users only had one day to claim them at the time, so it’s plausible that some missed out.
Epic Games Store users that have been claiming all the launcher’s free games should have an impressive collection of Fallout titles by now. Beyond the original three games, the Epic Games Store has given away Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition for free twice, and Fallout: New Vegas – Ultimate Edition once.
