Nun braucht es auch für gewisse ÖV-Fahrten ein Covid-Zertifikat

In Bahn, Bus und Tram sind Zertifikatskontrollen bislang tabu. Allerdings gibt es einige Ausnahmen.

«Der ÖV ist für alle da»: So begründete Ueli Stückelberger, Direktor des Verbands öffentlicher Verkehr, im Gespräch mit dieser Zeitung, weshalb er sich «mit aller Kraft» gegen eine Zertifikatspflicht in Zug und Tram wehren würde.

Tatsache ist jedoch: Für einzelne Angebote im Schweizer Schienenverkehr brauchen Passagiere schon heute einen Corona-Nachweis. So dürfen im Glacier-Express zwischen St. Moritz und Zermatt nur noch Geimpfte, Genesene und Getestete mitfahren. Dieselben Regeln gelten für kulinarische Sonderfahrten der Rhätischen Bahn, etwa mit dem «Genussexpress».

Nur wenige Tickets annulliert oder umgebucht

Glacier-Express-Sprecherin Annemarie Meyer verweist auf den Entscheid des Bundesrats: Zwar ist der öffentliche Verkehr grundsätzlich von der ausgedehnten Zertifikatspflicht ausgenommen, jedoch gilt das 3-G-Prinzip seit vergangenem Montag in Innenbereichen von Restaurants. Und damit auch im Glacier-Express, «wo eine Bordküche geführt und im ganzen Zug Essen am Platz angeboten wird».

Die Option, separate Zonen ohne Bedienung einzuführen, sei zwar diskutiert, aber schliesslich verworfen worden, so Meyer. Weil Individualreisende oft schon weit im Voraus fixe Plätze buchten, wäre eine solche Lösung mit weiteren Schwierigkeiten verbunden gewesen. Laut der Sprecherin haben nur sehr wenige Gäste ihre Tickets aufgrund der Zertifikatspflicht annulliert oder umgebucht. «Die Zertifikatspflicht bietet auch eine Erleichterung beim Reisen, weil die Maskentragpflicht wegfällt.»

Das Foto einer SBB-Anzeigetafel, die in gelber Schrift auf die Zertifikatspflicht auf der Glacier-Express-Strecke zwischen Chur und St. Moritz hinweist, kursierte am Wochenende in massnahmenkritischen Kreisen. In den SBB-eigenen Zügen gilt die Zertifikatspflicht lediglich in den Speisewagen und Bordbistros, wobei Take-away-Bestellungen auch ohne Covid-Nachweis möglich sind.

Bündner am offensivsten

Politisch gibt es derzeit kaum Bestrebungen, die Massnahme auf den gesamten ÖV auszuweiten. Der Bündner Gesundheitsdirektor Peter Peyer lancierte die Debatte zwar unlängst und forderte im Interview mit dieser Redaktion, diese Möglichkeit müsse mittelfristig zumindest geprüft werden.

Ein Sprecher Peyers hält nun aber fest: Angesichts der aktuellen Corona-Zahlen sei dieser Schritt im Moment nicht angezeigt. Die Idee werde auch nicht mehr weiterverfolgt – vorausgesetzt, «dass die Impfbereitschaft weiterhin mindestens so hoch bleibt, wie sie im Augenblick ist». Die Rückmeldungen auf die Aussagen des Gesundheitsdirektors seien «kontrovers» ausgefallen, heisst es bei der Pressestelle, sie hätten «von grosser Zustimmung bis zu totaler Ablehnung» gereicht.

Auf den Entscheid der Rhätischen Bahn, den gesamten Glacier-Express der 3-G-Pflicht zu unterstellen, habe die Bündner Regierung keinen Einfluss genommen.

Skilifte im Fokus

Gesondert von der Frage des öffentlichen Verkehrs wird jene der Seilbahnen diskutiert. Im Bündnerland heisst es dazu, man befinde sich in einem regelmässigen Austausch mit der Bergbahnbranche. «Aktuell laufen Gespräche zwischen dem nationalen Branchenverband und dem BAG betreffend eine mögliche Zertifikatspflicht.»

Das Nachbarland Österreich ist in dieser Hinsicht schon einen Schritt weiter: Am Montag gab die Regierung in Wien bekannt, dass in der kommenden Wintersportsaison die 3-G-Regel gelten werde. In den Bergbahnen muss zudem eine FFP2-Maske getragen werden.
