The People’s Panellist Dana says nuclear power overseas has proven solar and wind energy have “failed” to make growth in global demand.
Her comments follow Opposition Leader Peter Dutton maintaining his support for nuclear power if his party were to be elected in the next federal election.

“I think the overseas experience has shown us that solar and wind has failed to make growth in global demand,” he told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“Why aren’t we having the debate?
“We need something that’s affordable, provides security, and is going to have minimum impact on the climate as possible.”
