NSW Covid-19 alerts: 12 bus routes added to exposure list

A food court, a general practice and multiple public transport routes have been added to the New South Wales Covid-19 exposure site list.

Another 14 alerts were issued on Thursday night, including 12 bus routes.

It comes as NSW recorded 262 new locally acquired cases of coronavirus in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Of the locally acquired cases, 129 are linked to a known case or cluster, while the source of infection for 133 cases remains under investigation.

Anyone who attended the following venues is considered a close contact who must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.

Blacktown

Blacktown Westpoint Food Court, Level 1, 17 Patrick St, on July 29 from 3pm to 5.30pm

St Mary’s

Dr Lagaida General Practice, 3/12 Queen St, on July 30 from 11.30am to 2.30pm, and on July 31 from 10am to 12.30pm

NSW Health will send a text message to people who have checked in at close contact venues with further information.

Anyone who does not receive a text message is urged to call 1800 943 553.
