Central Pattana plc., Thailand’s leading real estate developer and operator, is today launching the opening of Central Si Racha, a 4.2-billion-baht fully integrated mixed-use development project situated in a strategic land plot of 27 rai in the middle of the city of Si Racha.

Central Si Racha has prepared seven highlights for the happiness of the people of Si Racha.

As the model for eco-friendly malls and the first of its kind in the eastern region, Central Si Racha was designed with the environment as the major consideration from the very beginning. Bored piles used in the construction were made from recycled materials while the shopping centre provides recycling stations, EV charging stations and solar battery chargers. In addition, shops at Central Si Racha are encouraged to use bio-degradable packaging, e-receipts and e-menus to reduce paper use. The high-efficiency air-conditioning system uses 40% less energy than a normal system while the solar rooftops and building insulation can further cut energy use and expenses. Moreover, green spaces are ample in the project and the building is designed to allow maximum exposure to natural light in the indoor areas.

Central Si Racha is the first Central shopping centre with the “Smart & Healthy Building” innovation which provides an upgraded air-conditioning and filtration system to ensure the cleanest indoor air circulation and boost confidence of the shoppers and visitors. High-efficiency MERV filters can block up to 90% of dust particles and UVC lamps can help reduce germs in the air-conditioning system by 95%. Sensors will be placed at various spots to monitor indoor air and ensure a consistent and high level of air quality. In addition, the shopping centre will carry out the strict “Central Hygiene & Safety SAFE Plus+” measures and have 100% of its staff members fully vaccinated before the official opening.

To celebrate its opening, Central Si Racha will hold a number of highlight activities and promotions under the theme “Digitalised Experience”. By scanning a QR code, the people of Si Racha can learn about Si Racha’s Charm landmarks, play games, receive information about promotions and see virtual pet drawings by world-renowned illustrator Phannapast “Yoon” Taychamaythakool.

In the Moonlight Garden Outdoor Market and AR Zone at the outdoor area on the G level, visitors can scan and collect virtual pets for points and prizes. The 17-metre-tall Giant Digital Christmas Tree at the promotion area on the G level is a spectacular landmark where visitors can snap pictures and share. The Creative Food & Garden Truck at the promotion area in front of the shopping centre offers delicious food from Chonburi’s top restaurants and a chic atmosphere. The Foodie Oasis at the promotion area on the G level is the place for homemade food and a hydroponic vegetable garden by Che With Dee, Cafe & Farm. Visitors can also try the exclusive Omakase menu of edible flowers.

Each day during the promotion period, shoppers who spent at least 1,000 baht will get a chance to win a Toyota C-HR Hybrid Premium Safety worth about 1.14 million baht. Shoppers who spent 5,000 baht will receive a specially designed bag exclusive to Central Si Racha while those who spent 500 baht will receive a movie gift set consisting of a movie complimentary voucher and a M Gen Next card.

Central Si Racha is Central Pattana’s 35th shopping centre. It is located on Sukhumvit Road, the major highway linking the eastern region to the rest of the country, and is the most complete and fully integrated mixed-use development in the region. The project consists of the first semi-outdoor shopping centre outside of Bangkok, convention halls, a hotel, a serviced apartment, and a campus office. Its parking facilities can handle up to 1,800 cars and 800 motorcycles.
