Notorious vegan activist Tash Peterson complains about having G2G pass into WA denied

Notorious vegan activist Tash Peterson has issued a public whinge about her G2G pass application into WA from COVID-infected Melbourne being rejected, a month after announcing her departure from Perth.

Ms Peterson, known for publicly hurling abuse and hardline vegan philosophy at restaurant diners, recently took to social media to complain it was “very suspicious” WA Police rejected the application.

“I’m actually due back into WA next week and I’ve just put in a G2G pass application to get back,” she said.

“And my application has actually been unsuccessful on the basis I’m a non-WA resident.

Ms Peterson argued it was “quite unusual” because she had lived in WA for 24 years, has a permanent residential address in the State and included her WA drivers licence in her application.

“This just seems very suspicious to me,” she said.

“I have no explanation for this.”

Ms Peterson said she needs to return to WA to front court in August to face a disorderly conduct charge.

The 27-year-old was recently banned from all pubs and restaurants in WA over her antics that have included accosting shoppers at a supermarket while dressed as a blood-soaked abattoir worker, and holding a fake dead chicken under her arm.

Since arriving in Melbourne, the Iona Presentation College graduate led a group of protesters armed with fake blood and audio of chickens shrieking in agony while storming into a KFC restaurant.

Earlier this year, she was slapped with a fine for ambushing diners at Bathers Beach House seafood restaurant in Fremantle.

She stormed the field during the inaugural AFLW West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers derby at Optus Stadium.
