Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammates definitely know him better than most people. Such was evident in a fun game of ‘Know Your Teammate’ between the former Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper, current captain Faf du Plessis, Mohammad Siraj, Dinesh Karthik and Rajat Patidar.
In a viral Instagram video, Kohli can be heard asking his teammates about his unique bowling record in international cricket. Siraj was the one to get the answer right by saying, “wide stumped”.
“I’m the only bowler to pick up a wicket on the zeroth ball I have bowled. I got Kevin Pietersen stumped off a wide ball. So zero balls,” Kohli explained the record to his teammates.
In the same clip, Kohli followed up with another question about the favourite innings of his career.
While Du Plessis, Siraj and Patidar all pointed towards one of his knocks against Australia in Perth, it was Dinesh Karthik who got the answer right this time by mentioning Kohli’s unbeaten 82 against Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the T20 World Cup in 2022.

In the third and final question of the entertaining session, Kohli asked his teammates about the cricket legend with whom he would’ve liked to play one day.
This time everyone got the answer right but Du Plessis added another name by mentioning Brian Lara.
Kohli then confirmed that the correct answer is Viv Richards indeed.
Coming back to RCB’s IPL 2024 season, they recently suffered a crushing seven-wicket defeat to Mumbai Indians.
Playing at the Wankhede Stadium on April 11, RCB managed to post an impressive total of 196.
Players including Patidar, Du Plessis and Karthik all contributed with half-centuries each. However, Mumbai Indians openers stitched a 101-run partnership in 8.5 overs to kickstart their chase.
They were able to convert this brilliant start into a win by reaching the total within 15.3 overs.
RCB have so far lost five of the six games they have played in the IPL 2024 campaign. They are currently at the bottom of the standings with two points to their name. They will now be looking to script a comeback to stay alive in the playoff race.
RCB next play the Sunrisers Hyderabad at home next week.
