On Wednesday evening, the Denver Nuggets are in Canada facing off against the Toronto Raptors.
During the game, Nikola Jokic made NBA history by moving ahead of Hall of Famer Charles Barkley (4,215) on the all-time assists list.
Following Barkley, the next player for Jokic to pass will be Hall of Famer Tim Duncan (4,225).
Jokic came into the evening with averages of 26.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 30.6% from the three-point range in 27 games.
The Nuggets are the third seed in the Western Conference with an 18-10 record in their first 28 games.

Jokic was the 41st pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and is the best second-round pick of all time.
