It’s safe to say that Nicole Kidman always makes our jaws drop whenever she steps onto a red carpet—and the 2023 Met Gala was certainly no exception. The 55-year-old actress wowed in another flawless head-to-toe look on fashion’s biggest night of the year. While we might not be able to snag her incredible gown, we can recreate her gorgeous, flawless skin. It’s all thanks to Kidman’s makeup artist, Angela Levin, who revealed exactly what she used to achieve the star’s radiant, flawless skin—which, of course, perfectly complemented her feathery, pale pink Chanel couture gown. Levin applied the Chanel Longwear Concealer in shade B20 to add flawless coverage to Kidman’s eye area and side of the nose.

“For Nicole’s look tonight at the #MetGala, my inspiration was emphasizing her elegant, timeless beauty using @chanel.beauty’s iconic products,” Levin wrote in an Instagram post.

It’s easy to see why the pick is a go-to for Kidman. Offering light-to-medium coverage that’s easily buildable, the concealer features a lightweight, gel-based formula that contains soft-focus pigments, which help to brighten skin and blur imperfections. It can be used under or over your foundation (Kidman herself wore it over her N°1 de Chanel Revitalizing Foundation) and it’s easy to apply, too: Just use the handy wand applicator that’s perfect for precise touchups, and blend with your fingertips.

Reviewers especially love the lightweight texture of the concealer, raving that it “goes on smooth” and “blends flawlessly” into the skin without any caking or creasing. “It feels like silk when applying,” writes one Nordstrom shopper. “It doesn’t clump and it blends better than any of the hundreds of concealers I’ve ever used before.”

“Finally found my ‘IT’ concealer!” says another reviewer on Ulta’s website. “Super lightweight with good coverage, did not aggravate or dry my eyes…Stays in place, I absolutely LOVE IT. Finally, something that covers my dark under eye without being heavy.”

Other reviewers swear that it’s the perfect concealer for mature skin, with one customer writing: “I’ve tried many concealers, and the Chanel Le Correcteur is my favorite. I’m very mature and have all the skin problems that go with it. This is the only concealer I’ve found that doesn’t make them look worse. Will repurchase again and again.”

With rave reviews from shoppers and Kidman’s makeup artist’s stamp of approval, we definitely don’t need any more convincing to add this ultra-lightweight concealer to our shopping carts.

If you’re looking to recreate the rest of Kidman’s red carpet glow, check out the Chanel products Levin used to create Kidman’s stunning Met Gala look, including her go-to eyeliner and mascara.
