Nick Jonas’ birth chart shows that he’s the gift that keeps on giving
Nick Jonas was born on Sept. 16, 1992. This makes him a hardworking Virgo Sun with a grounded Taurus moon. Unless a celebrity is personally texting their birth details to me, I don’t often trust the birth times listed online, so we will ignore a potentially inaccurate Ascendant.
Right off the bat, we can see that Jonas has a strong alignment of earth element placements in his chart. Earth is the slowest moving of the elements, but also the most enduring and strong. This empowers Jonas to set his mind to something and stick with it, even if it takes him a while to make it happen. His career, relationships and passions — he’s in them for the long haul. Also, I love the fact that he isn’t just centered on one earth zodiac sign in his chart — he has a plethora of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn placements, meaning that he can truly move mountains for anything he believes.
On top of that, he secondarily has a representation of water placements. When a great deal of earth and water are together in someone’s natal chart, it means that they can understand both the emotional and practical realms of life, without being overwhelmed by one. This shows that Jonas can make realistic and intentional choices that support his feelings and soul’s calling. So when he and his wife decided children would be on the menu someday, it’s likely that they negotiated this very, very early within their courtship.
On further analysis of Jonas’ chart, I’m just so taken by how much fun he seems to be. (I’m a Hollywood astrologer, so I bump into a lot of these famous peeps now and again, but I’m still surprised I haven’t crossed paths with this Virgo King — oh hey, let’s be friends!) His sun, ruling his innate personality and life force, is in the exact same place as his Mercury, the planet of wit and intellect, as well as his Jupiter, the planet of expansive joy.
This is a guy who makes people feel good — not only about him but also about themselves. Oh, and his moon is in a unique alignment with Saturn, which literally means he is attracted to powerful women. I getchu, my friend — I getchu!
The star-crossed celebs are cosmic lovers.

Priyanka Chopra’s birth chart shows that she lives to inspire
Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982. She is a sweet Cancer sun with an excitable Gemini moon. When it comes to elements, air takes her greatest crown. However, even though she’s highly intellectual and an “ideas” person, the way that her placements flow also reveals that she’s not the kind of person who rejects emotions in favor of intellect. In fact, she can command both the realm of feelings and intuition while also acknowledging the importance of logic. What a Goddess! (I’m so obsessed with this couple now. We legit need to grab dinner and I’ll do your reading, but you’re covering the tab.)
Of all the zodiac signs, Cancers are known to be the most maternal — deeply rooted in the preservation of their sense of home, lineage and traditions. The fact that Chopra has been going on the record saying that she’s wanted to be a mother is no shocker. In fact, it is written in her stars.
On further analysis of her birth chart, we can see that she is a deeply powerful woman who craves respect, but who is also willful, intentional and impactful without having to be aggressive. She can be strategic and cautious around her emotions — and she sure does have some extremely deep ones — but she also knows how to communicate them. Her Venus links with her Neptune, which brings generous, charming, compassionate and kind energy to her aura. My favorite thing about her chart is that you can see that she supports the hopes and dreams of those around her and will do so with grace.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra will make incredible parents.

Are Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra astrologically compatible?
Yes. Absolutely. These two are power couple goals. Except they’re not just the kind of power couple that will amplify one another’s professional goals — there’s so much more to them than that.
My compatibility rating for them is 8 out of 10. Here’s why:
First off, they have so many planetary alignments between them that are expansive, euphoric, passionate and romantic. Plus, their planets of love, sex and marriage are completely united. Yes, you read that right. Jonas’ Venus is in the same place as Chopra’s Mars, and Jonas’ Mars is in the same place as Chopra’s Venus. Soulmate energy, baby! In fact, I would go as far as to say that they are the archetypal cosmic lovers.
However, just because they have a ton of great alignments between them doesn’t mean they’re split from the same cloth and are mirror images. They do have some areas of friction between them, particularly around not seeing eye-to-eye around worldviews and ways of communication. But the best part about them is they work to be better and learn from one another.
The couple have so many bright memories ahead of them.

What’s ahead for Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra?
So, why did the news break that the pair were having a child now? Venus is directly across the sky from Chopra, highlighting partnership and marriage promises, while the planet is literally in Jonas’ solar chart of fertility and children. They’re so aligned and the stars are bringing them closer. Oh, and the wolf moon that recently took place also triggered the announcement, too. Astrology is so wild! I’m getting butterflies just writing this!
As for 2022, the year will be quite beautiful for the family. Jupiter, the planet of miracles, stands across the sky from Jonas, bringing more intimacy and shared joy in his marriage as well as granting lifelong dreams to come true. I think that the two may consider having another child between 2022 and 2023, as powerful eclipses will be activating fertility and children once again.
Down the line, I do think 2023 to 2026 could be a little rockier for the two, as Saturn will oppose Jonas and Chopra could feel more stifled within her ambitions for personal growth. But that doesn’t mean it will be entirely gloomy; it just means they’ll learn important life lessons then.
As for the two’s role as parents, Jonas will be a grounded father, yet energetic and excitable. He will be stern when it comes to his rules, but he’ll also encourage invention. Chopra will rule the family as a strong and fearless maternal figure.
The fact that their child will have two parents who will support and inspire their dreams is so touching. May the stars shine ever so brightly down upon them all. Congratulations to the young family.
