TONIGHT: Cloudy, Cool. Lo 41. Winds NW 5 mph.
SUNDAY: Cloudy, Mild. Hi 50. Lo 34.
MONDAY: Mostly Cloudy, Cooler. Hi 46. Lo 34.
Highs managed to stretch into that 60 degree mark in a few places Saturday despite extensive cloud cover. Lows only reach the low 40s overnight as those same clouds retain daytime heat. An overnight front will set into motion the cooling we’re expecting over the next several days.
Highs will gradually cool back down into the upper 30s by the midpoint of next week. Lows take a similar course, cooling into the upper 20s by then. The big story heading into next week is the potential rain-snow chance on tap Tuesday morning. Early indicators point to rain south of Harrisburg and snow north early before transitioning to mostly snow across most of the Midstate. Temperatures hovering around or even slightly above freezing will limit the amount of snow accumulation, which will be mostly slushy in nature. We will keep you updated over the next several days but this is definitely not looking like a great snow chance.
