Last October, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage.
Despite how things ended, Bundchen followed Brady’s final NFL season closely. She even offered her thoughts on the Buccaneers’ playoff loss to the Cowboys in an extensive interview with Vanity Fair.
Bundchen didn’t put much of the blame on Brady’s shoulders. That’s because she thought his offensive line failed him.
“It was tough, but you know what? Let’s just be honest. It’s a team sport and you can’t play alone,” Bundchen said. “I think he did great under the circumstances that he had. I mean, he had no offensive line.”
As you’d expect, NFL fans had a lot to say about Bundchen’s comments regarding the Buccaneers.
“I mean she not lying,” one person tweeted.
“Love her so much,” another person replied.
Brady was under pressure for most of the Buccaneers-Cowboys game, so Bundchen is not wrong at all with her assessment there.
Nonetheless, it was an unfortunate ending to Brady’s historic career.
