PARÍS (AP) — Neymar y el poderoso ataque del París Saint-Germain dieron otra gran exhibición el sábado, al golear 5-2 al Montpellier en la liga francesa, en un encuentro en que Kylian Mbappé regresó tras una lesión y abrió su factura anotadora de la campaña pero erró un penal.

Un doblete le permitió a Neymar llegar a tres dianas en dos partidos de la nueva campaña, en una noche en que el argentino Lionel Messi se fue en blanco. El delantero brasileño fue también el mejor jugador del PSG en los encuentros de pretemporada, justo cuando busca mejorar su nivel para el Mundial que comienza en noviembre en Qatar.

PSG, campeón defensor de la liga, anotó también cinco goles en su duelo de la primera fecha. Montpellier optó por colocar un bloque defensivo muy atrás, en busca de cerrar espacio a los locales.

Pero la presión fue demasiada para el central Falaye Sacko, quien desvió un tiro de Mbappé hacia su propio arco a los 39 minutos.

Sacko tocó un balón con la mano a los 42, tras una serie de gambetas de Messi. Neymar engañó a Jonas Omlin para convertir y poner el 2-0 en el marcador.

El cuadro parisiense aprovechó otro error defensivo para conseguir la tercera anotación a los 51 minutos. Mbappé tapó un pase de Omlin y encontró a Achraf Hakimi, cuyo centro desviado fue enviado hacia las redes por Neymar.

Lejos de su nivel óptimo, Mbappé encontró el tanto con un tiro picado tras un corner a los 69.

“Es un competidor, quiere ser bueno y quiere serlo pronto”, dijo el técnico del PSG Christophe Galtier, en declaraciones a Canal Plus. “Necesita un poco de tiempo para estar al 100%. Marcará incluso más la diferencia cuando esté al 100%”.

En su debut con el PSG, el volante portugués Renato Sanches redondeó el marcador con un tiro de primera intención a los 88 minutos.

Omlin aportó algunas buenas atajadas para frustrar al PSG durante más de 30 minutos. El arquero suizo atajó un penal de Mbappé a los 23, después de que Jordan Ferri había cometido una mano.

Montpellier marcó con un tiro corto de Wahbi Khazri a los 58 minutos y media volea de Enzo Tchato en el descuento.

También el sábado, los problemas defensivos del Rennes quedaron en evidencia después de que desperdició su ventaja para empatar 1-1 con el Mónaco, que se quedó con 10 hombres.

En un duelo entre aspirantes a puestos europeos, el delantero del Mónaco Breel Embolo se abalanzó tras un duro toque del portero Dogan Alemdar para empatar a los 73 minutos.

El delantero del Rennes Gaetan Laborde abrió el marcador disparando tras un rebote a los 59 minutos.

El Mónaco se quedó con 10 jugadores a los 15 minutos, después de que el centrocampista Youssouf Fofana recibió una tarjeta roja por una patada al tobillo de Martin Terrier.
