New Zealand government crack down on gangs
The New Zealand government are reportedly taking measures to crack down on gangs in the area.
The government will likely introduce punitive measures for individuals wearing or displaying gang associated logos.
Data show that gang membership in the country rose 81 per cent from 2017 to 2023.
“There’s only one reason why gang members wear gang patches, and that is quite simply to intimidate,” New Zealand Prime Minister Mark Mitchell said.
