New Rs 80K e-scooter offers 170 km range
Pune-based electric vehicle manufacturer iVoomi has introduced a new electric scooter, JeetX ZE. Priced at Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom), this electric scooter has a range of up to 170 km and will be available in three different versions. The electric vehicle will come in a choice of eight colors, such as Nardo Gray, Ultra Red, and Urban Green.
The JeetX ZE accommodates a 3 kilowatt-hour battery pack connected to a BLDC motor that is rated for 2.1 kilowatts of peak power. This combination can drive this electric vehicle at a maximum speed of 57 kilometers per hour, which is perfect for urban usage. Regarding the charging duration, it requires approximately 5.5 hours to completely charge the battery, and a 50 percent charge can be attained in less than 2.5 hours. It comes with a 7 ampere home wall-compatible charger. The battery is accompanied by a warranty of either five years or 50,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
The suspension duties will be performed using 75mm telescopic forks at the front and a 60 mm spring-loaded unit at the rear. The braking power is provided by a disc brake on the front wheel and a drum unit on the rear. Some of the notable features are the anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), regenerative braking technology, and geo-fencing, among others. Additionally, it is equipped with a digital instrument console that displays infographics for distance-to-empty, provides turn-by-turn navigation, and offers Bluetooth connectivity with SMS and call alerts.
