Georgia Steel reignites feud with Doctor Alex George saying she would be 'devastated' if he joined Love Island: All Stars and they coupled up

Love Island: All Stars launches on Monday 15th January at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX & STV

Georgia Steel has reignited her feud with Doctor Alex George, admitting she would be ‘devastated’ if he joined the Love Island: All Stars lineup.

The Islander, 25, says her idea of a nightmare would be to end up in a couple with Alex, 32, after the ‘incompatible’ pair starred on the ITV2 series together in 2018.

Alex made a dig at Georgia shortly after it was revealed that her romance with ex-boyfriend Sam Bird was over, as he gloated about leaving Love Island as a single man while the couples who finished together quickly split-up.

The former Celebs Go Dating star became known for her catchphrase ‘I’m loyal’ despite kissing Jack Fowler on a date when he was with Laura Anderson and she was committed to Sam.

And Georgia says she isn’t going into All Stars with the intention of being ‘loyal’ and won’t stay with the partner she’s paired with if the connection isn’t strong.

Georgia said: ‘The least compatible person for me would be Doctor Alex.

‘I met him on my series, and he was more like a brother to me but if they said to me ‘you have to couple up with Doctor Alex’ I would be devastated and I would tell him that as well.

‘I would say ‘Alex, I’m devastated we’re together because we don’t fancy each other.’

While Doctor Alex isn’t high on Georgia’s list, neither is her original type, with the star saying that she looks for more than just good looks and attraction in a partner.

She said: ‘Naturally, when I was younger, I liked a mixed-race boy, dark features, tattoos, naughty boy… that was a vibe.

‘Now that I am older, I am a lot more open-minded, I know what I want in a partner. I want them to be caring, emotionally intelligent, it’s a bonus but it’s how they make me feel that makes me fall in love now.’

Georgia explained that the past year has been difficult for her after she featured in ITV documentary The Football Fraudster, which told the story of her footballer ex Medi Abalimba, who conned her out of a reported £160,000.

The star met committed fraudster Medi on a night out in London before the pair started dating and he copied her card details, stealing a lump sum from her account.

But Georgia says the experience hasn’t impacted her desire to find a new partner and she hopes the ordeal has only made her stronger.

She said: ‘Last year was a really difficult year for me…

‘I went through so much but I learned so much and a year later, 2024, I’m going back in the villa and I’m going to have fun and enjoy it and leave all that in the past and take all the learning tools from those experiences.’

Georgia hopes her ‘loyal’ catchphrase won’t come back to haunt her because she has no intention on remaining committed to the wrong man.

She said: ‘I won’t be… I don’t want to say the words… because I said “I’m loyal” in 2018 that I have to stay with this person for day one, no, that’s not me… whatever happens, happens… I will always be respectful to my partner.

‘All my friends are settling, getting married, having children and I’m the youngest always in my friendship groups but I would love that.

‘I want to be pushing a pram with my friend and doing those things around the same time.’
