Quelle début de saison de Nelly Korda ! La meilleure joueuse mondiale a remporté ce dimanche son cinquième tournoi consécutif et entame 2024 de belle manière. La Floridienne s’est imposée devant la Suédoise Maja Stark pour remporter son premier Masters de la saison : le Chevron Championship. C’est la première fois que la fille de la légende du tennis Petr Korda remporte le tournoi texan. Korda a gagné avec deux coups d’avance notamment grâce à un brillant quasi-coup en un au 17e trou et termine avec une carte de -13. Lauren Coughlin complète le podium, une première pour la native de Chesapeake cette saison.
