The Netflix 2024 India series slate includes the most anticipated series by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, Tahir Raj Bhasin’s ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein 2’, ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’ and Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Khakee – The Bengal Chapter’ among more. HEERAMANDI 

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the period drama is described as an “epic saga of love, power, betrayal, struggle and, ultimately, freedom.” The show is set during the backdrop of the freedom movement. The ensemble cast of the series includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman and Taha Shah.Â

KHAKEE: THE BENGAL CHAPTER 

From the badlands of Bihar to the ganglands of Bengal – the next chapter moves to Kolkata in 2003. The action-thriller series follows two honest cops, who go after a dreaded don and his fierce henchmen. Based on a true story, this brand-new season is created by Neeraj Pandey.Â

 KOTA FACTORY SEASON 3

Starring Jitendra Kumar, Tilotama Shome, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, Ahsaas Channa and Rajesh Kumar, one of the most anticipated series in India is back with yet another season. The release date is yet to be announced.Â

MISMATCHED SEASON 3

Dimple Ahuja and Rishi Shekhawat are back together in a new city in a whole new relationship dynamic, facing each other in two competing institutes. Will their chemistry be forgotten or are they on the path to discover something new? ‘Mismatched’ is directed by Akarsh Khurana and features Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, Taaruk Raina, Vidya Malavade and Ranvijay Singha in key roles.Â

YEH KAALI KAALI AANKHEIN SEASON 2

Sidharth Sengupta’s thriller series was among the most-loved show of 2022. A tepid story of love and obsession, it is headlined by Tahir Raj Bhasin. With a newly built web of lies, greed and murder, the second season promises to be much more gripping. It also features Anchal Singh, Shweta Tripathi, Gurmeet Chaudhary in key roles.Â

FABULOUS LIVES VS BOLLYWOOD WIVES

Karan Johar’s hit series ‘Bollywood Wives’ is among the list of unscripted series. ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’ tells the tale of three new divas from the swank capital city of India, Delhi. It has been directed by Uttam Ramkrishna Domale. The release date of the series is yet to be revealed.Â

THE GREAT INDIAN KAPIL SHOW 

India’s most loved comedian finds a home on Netflix and brings along his crazy but loyal cast of characters. ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is a variety chat show set in the bustling confines of an airport and features prominent celebrity guests every week. It features Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and others. ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ will premiere on March 30.Â

MANDALA MURDERS 

Netflix has collaborated with Yash Raj Films to produce a crime thriller series headlined by Vaani Kapoor. Titled ‘Mandala Murders’, it is directed by Gopi Puthuran. The show tells the story of two detectives who are thrust into a dark world where murders are not merely random acts of violence, but rather part of a sinister plan orchestrated by a century-old secret society.Â

DABBA CARTEL 

Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Dabba Cartel’ revolves around five housewives who run a high-stakes secret cartel. The ensemble cast includes Shabana Azmi, Jyotika, Shalini Pandey, Nimisha Sajayan and Anjali Anand.Â

Among other prominent series are ‘The Greatest Rivalry – India Vs Pakistan’, ‘Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous’ and ‘IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack’.Â
