An established village pub near Newark has been transformed following an extensive refurbishment. The works took three weeks to carry out, but The Grove Inn pub at Balderton now boasts a brighter and more modern look.
Some of the changes that have been made include a refreshed bar area, refurbished soft furnishing and an enhanced dining area. There is now a more relaxed and welcoming environment for customers to enjoy whether they are popping in for a pint with friends or a full meal with family
The pub, which is one of 200 Sizzling Pubs across the country, has also introduced a brand-new food menu in addition to its new look. Pub favourites like Chicken Tikka Masala and Halloumi Flatbread are available, as well as other freshly cooked dishes.

The menu also has a dessert section featuring classics like Bramley Apple Pie and Lemon and Raspberry Mousse. General Manager, Rob Andrews, said: “We’re thrilled to show off The Grove Inn’s new look to our guests.
“Whether you’re looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same sizzle we’ve always had.”
The family-friendly pub is also known as a great place to watch sports, and to make sure you catch the best of a live match you can pre-book your tables. The pub also hosts a poker night every Monday at 7pm, a quiz night at 8:30pm on Thursdays and regular live entertainment throughout the year.
