National Radio Festival 2020 kicks off in Dong Thap

A grand opening ceremony to launch the 14th National Radio Festival 2020 took place in Cao Lanh city in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap on June 25, with Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh in attendance.

The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Dong Thap province jointly host the National Radio Festival 2020.

Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh (C), representing the government, attends the event.

A number of State leaders and members of various journalists associations are also on hand at the event.

VOV Director General Nguyen The Ky is the head of the Steering Committee of the 14th National Radio Festival.

Moreover, the occasion also sees the participation of former VOV Director Generals, Deputy Director Generals, reporters, editors, and technicians.

Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh sends his best wishes and hopes that the National Radio Festival can enjoy success.

VOV Director General Nguyen The Ky beat the drum, officially marking the start of the 14th National Radio Festival 2020.

The judging panel receives a bouquet of flowers from the Deputy PM.

VOV Director General Nguyen The Ky joins Secretary of the Dong Thap Party Committee Le Minh Hoan to offer flowers to members of the judging panel.

A music gala kicks off the opening ceremony.

The festival lasts for three days, from June 25-27.
