National online book festival launched

PANO – The Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution under the Ministry of Information and Communications launched a national online book festival at book365.vn on April 17.

Under the theme “Books for every family, bringing books to far away regions,” the festival drew the participation of over 70 publishing houses and book publishers nationwide. They brought to the event tens of thousands of printed books and e-books with subsidies up to 70% and completely free ships for the first 30,000 bills.

Book lovers will have a chance to get an insight into digital transformation in the publishing industry, as well as how to access books in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. In addition, numerous activities such as workshops and contests will be held on the sidelines of the festival.

The event will last until May 15.
