Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Batı Dilleri ve Edebiyatları Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi ve Metinbilim Enstitüsü Derneği Başkan Yardımcısı Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Gülden Yüksel, Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknik Araştırma Kurumu Yurt Dışı Doktora Sonrası Araştırma Bursu kapsamında İngiltere’nin Oxford Üniversitesine gitmeye hak kazandı.

Sosyal bilimler alanında bir ilk

Bu görevlendirme ile Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesinde bir ilk yaşandı. MSKÜ’de daha önce mühendislik alanında Oxford’da öğrenim gören ve doktora sonrası çalışmada bulunan 2 akademik eleman olmuş, fakat Sosyal Bilimler alanında Oxford’da doktora sonrası çalışma yapan olmamıştı.

Burs kazanan MSKÜ öğretim üyesi Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Gülden Yüksel, İngiliz Romanı alanında çalışmalarını, bir yıl süreyle dünyanın en eski ve en iyi üniversitelerinden biri olan Oxford Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleştirecek.

Dr. Gülden Yüksel, Oxford’daki çalışmalarına 1 Eylül 2024 günü başlayacak ve bu çalışmalar 31 Ağustos 2025 gününe kadar devam edecek.
