How to make Orange tea at home
Ingredients
3 Water, 1 orange, 1-2 tsp green tea leaves or 1 tea bag, 2 tbsp orange juice, ½ tsp jaggery powder, 1 tsp grated ginger, 1 pinch cinnamon.
Step 1
Wash the orange thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or residues. Then, using a sharp knife, carefully remove the outer zest of the orange.
Step 2
Boil 2 cups of water and turn off the heat.
Step 3
Add in orange zest and black tea bag/leaves. Let it steep for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Take an orange peel and prick it with a toothpick and use it as a strainer for the tea, add in 2 tbsp of fresh orange juice.
Step 5
Add in jaggery and mix well and enjoy!
