Um motociclista morreu esta madrugada numa colisão com um veículo ligeiro de passageiros, no concelho da Marinha Grande, distrito de Leiria, informou à Lusa fonte da Proteção Civil.

O alerta para o acidente foi dado pelas 02:04 e condicionou o acesso à autoestrada 8, referiu fonte do Comando Sub-Regional de Emergência e Proteção Civil de Leiria.

A colisão, que vitimou um homem de 24 anos, ocorreu na Estrada dos Guilhermes, perto do acesso à A8.

No local estiveram os Bombeiros Voluntários da Marinha Grande, a Viatura Médica de Emergência e Reanimação, o Instituto Nacional de Emergência Nacional, Autoestradas do Atlântico, GNR e PSP, num total de 19 operacionais e dez viaturas.

Elementos do Centro de Apoio Psicológico e Intervenção em Crise (CAPIC) do INEM também estiveram no local para prestar apoio aos familiares da vítima.
