Verizon outages impact 911 calls in several Pennsylvania counties
EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials report a Verizon outage is affecting 911 calls in several counties, Tuesday afternoon in Pennsylvania.
Over 100,000 customers without power statewide
The East Central Emergency Network states there is currently experiencing a widespread outage affecting 911 in Columbia and Montour counties, and several other counties in the region.
Anyone in the affected areas who cannot call or text 911 should call 570-275-1911, or report to their nearest police, fire, or EMS station to request assistance until the issue is repaired.
