MMDA: New working hours for LGUs start May 2
MANILA, Philippines: The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reminded workers in the local government units in the National Capital Region (NCR) that the adjustment of working hours start on Thursday, May 2.
The 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. shift is aimed at addressing the worsening road congestion in Metro Manila.
“Starting May 2, the MMDA will be able to provide services earlier. From 7:00 in the morning, the MMDA Head Office located at Julia Vargas Avenue corner Molave Street, Barangay Ugong, Pasig City is open to the public,” the MMDA said.
The MMDA also said that some staff may be allowed until 5:00 p.m., to complete public transactions for continuous public service.
