The clash broke out as the snowboarders blocked the exit of the chairlift, causing other riders behind them to fall and take off their snowboards.
The video was shared by a social media user on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday and has garnered more than 800,000 views and hundreds of comments.
Lee Canyon General Manager Dan Hooper later clarified in a statement that the brawl took place on January 13.
‘Lee Canyon has revoked passes of people involved, and we are actively collaborating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation,’ Hooper wrote.
Reddit users reported that the group of teenagers had repeatedly cut the singles line multiple times throughout the day.
A user, claiming their friends were at the resort, wrote: ‘Some teenagers were cutting the singles line on multiple occasions, which then escalated into a shouting match the entire way up the chairlift, and then into the fight in the video.’
Another person chimed in, adding that there was a verbal altercation at the bottom of the lift before the camera started rolling.
They wrote: ‘Random guy apparently gets involved and words were exchanged all the way to the top of the mountain at which point baboonery commences.’
When other skiers and snowboarders began calling out the teenagers for cutting the singles line, they allegedly responded with, ‘Who even comes up here by themselves? That’s not a thing.’

In the video, a snowboarder in a light purple jacket can be seen sitting on the ground, adjusting their bindings.
The situation takes a sudden turn when another person dressed in all black approaches and punches them in the face.
Others swiftly gather around the snowboarder in purple, launching a violent attack until they are forced to lie down.
They clogged the exit, causing riders behind them to struggle to get off the chairlift and make their way to the slope.
In another clip shot from a different angle, the snowboarder in purple chased another individual down toward the slope until it reached a point where the terrain became too steep.
They had to walk back up to the summit while a random snowboard can be seen rolling down the hill.
Some social media users, who hadn’t been to the resort or witnessed the brawl, opined that everyone who blocked the exit deserved to be hit.
One person wrote: ‘Just as an outside viewer I feel like everybody clamping in by the lift exit ramp absolutely deserved to get punched in the face.’
Another person who grew up skiing wrote: ‘Going in the singles line is not a bad thing if you don’t mind your group being split up. It generally will get you up the mountain faster on crowded days.
‘If you are using the singles line to all cheat your way in all to the same chair then it’s f**ked,’ they added.

A person who has been to the resort said: ‘The mountains closest to heavy populations are always the ones with the most kids acting like little sh*t.’
The general manager of Lee Canyon said the resort is investigating the situation with law enforcement authorities.
‘We maintain a steadfast zero-tolerance policy against illegal or disruptive conduct on our premises,’ Hooper wrote. ‘Individuals violating this policy face consequences like terminating their season passes and losing future access to the resort.’
As of Friday afternoon, no charges or arrests have been made against the individuals involved in the brawl.
