British Army helicopter pilot accused of 'having affairs with TWO of his comrades' wives' sparks fury as crews 'refuse to fly with him' over allegations now being probed by top brass

Married Captain Simon Boeg, 42, has since been grounded by Army bosses

A helicopter pilot in the army has been accused of having affairs with two of his comrades’ wives.

The alleged affairs have sparked fury and crews have refused to fly with him.

Married Captain Simon Boeg, 42, has since been grounded by Army bosses for safety reasons and started a misconduct investigation.

Mr Boeg, a Wildcat helicopter instructor, has been accused of sleeping with his co-pilot’s and door gunner’s wives in two separate affairs.

The trio were reportedly close friends and even went to each others’ weddings, The Sun reported.

A source told the paper: ‘They flew together many times over many years. They were all close friends.’

In 2022, Mr Boeg faced ‘administrative action’ for allegedly sleeping with his door gunner’s wife.

The gunner reportedly quit the force two years before his retirement over how the probe was handled.

Mr Boeg was posted 7,000 miles away to Brunei with his family, including his children.

However, when he came back to Britain for short stays he started an affair with his co-pilot’s wife.

The three marriages have all since fallen apart, it has been reported.

An Army spokesman said its soldiers ‘are held to the highest standards’, adding: ‘If individuals fail to meet these standards then appropriate action will be taken.’

The MoD has been approached for comment.
