The BJP unit in Uttar Pradesh has come in the election mode with designated election in-charges and co-in charges visiting the capital Lucknow on Wednesday ahead of the next year’s state assembly polls.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP national vice-president and state in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, and election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan were present at the meeting chaired by state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh at party’s state headquarters in Lucknow.
Union minister and state election co-in-charge Anurag Thakur, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, national vice-president Baby Rani Maurya, and state General Secretary (Organisation) Sunil Bansal were also present at the meeting.
The leaders discussed outlining strategy and organisational program review for the poll campaigning.
Speaking to India today, Swatantra Dev Singh said the introductory meeting was held to discuss the strategy for further campaigns. “After the meeting scheduled for Thursday, the responsibility of the key officials with their election profile will be given,” he said.
Talking about the relevance of the meet, Anurag Thakur said with the work of PM Modi and the leadership of CM Yogi, BJP will fight the 2022 election with full potential. “The workers and the key officer are fully prepared on the basis of the faith shown by the organization, to get better outcome in 2022,” he said.
According to sources, the responsibilities to the respective in-charges will be given and the party will outline the election strategy zone wise after looking at the ground constraints and challenges at every region. The BJP is also looking at expanding the ongoing party programs up to booth level and constant review of the ongoing frontal organisation programs.
In the upcoming meetings of the core committee, the final seal on the four nominations for the legislative council and the names for the cabinet expansion are also likely to be finalised.Internet Explorer Channel Network
