La ciudad de Milán se prepara para implementar medidas que cambiarán la escena nocturna en la zona norte de la ciudad. El ayuntamiento planea una ordenanza que prohibirá el consumo de alimentos en la vía pública y limitará las terrazas, todo en aras de mantener la paz y tranquilidad de los residentes, aunque esta iniciativa ha generado controversia en el sector de la restauración.

La prohibición entrará en vigor los fines de semana y días festivos a partir de las 00:30 horas, extendiéndose a los vendedores ambulantes de comida en áreas concurridas a partir de las 20:00 horas. La propuesta busca especialmente regular zonas de alta afluencia como el popular barrio de Navigli, conocido por la concentración de jóvenes durante los fines de semana, lo que puede perturbar el descanso de los vecinos.

Aunque la ordenanza aún está en proceso de revisión y alegaciones hasta el 3 de mayo, el descontento ya se ha manifestado. Los restauradores critican la disparidad al permitir la venta de alimentos en supermercados durante la noche.

“¿Cómo se puede diferenciar entre alguien que ya tenía una bebida consigo y alguien que la compró recientemente?”, cuestionó Marco Barbieri, secretario general de la asociación Confcommercio.

El alcalde Giuseppe Sala respalda la medida argumentando que busca satisfacer las demandas de los residentes por un descanso nocturno adecuado, aunque está abierto a ajustes en la normativa. Milán, reconocida por su vida nocturna, busca así equilibrar el disfrute del espacio público con el respeto a la tranquilidad de sus ciudadanos, especialmente en las áreas afectadas por la actividad nocturna conocida como ‘movida’.
