Choco Mucho eliminates F2, rolls to seventh straight win

MANILA, Philippines: Choco Mucho eliminated F2 Logistics, 19-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-19 shellacking at the PhilSports Arena on Tuesday, November 21 to roll to its seventh straight win in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference.

Sisi Rondina fired 21 points and 12 excellent receptions to lead the Flying Titans who soared to a 7-1 slate, tied with the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in second place.

Isa Molde logged 13 points while Kat Tolentino and Cherry Nunag chipped in 10 points each in the win.

Meanwhile, Ara Galang tallied seven points, nine digs, and 13 receptions for the Cargo Movers who fell to 4-5, seventh in the standings.

F2 could improve as high as 6-5 and would tie the fourth-running Cignal, provided that it loses its remaining two games, but would not be able to match the latter’s points of 19. Even if the Cargo Movers win their last games in straight sets, they could only muster 18 points, one point short of what the HD Spikers have right now.

Other than F2, Gerflor (0-8), Galeries Tower (0-7), Farm Fresh (1-8), and Nxled (3-5) are also out of semis contention.
