Erin McClean and family beam with pride as James' team makes a huge step

It was a big weekend for the McClean family as James’ team Wrexham secured a position in League One next season and everyone was on cloud nine, celebrating.

The Welsh team co-owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took on Forest Green Rovers and beat them a whopping 6-0.

And as always James’ family were there, in their jerseys waving their dad on.

James and Erin share four children Allie Mae, Willow Ivy and James Junior who are their dad’s biggest fans.

After the final whistle, his kids jumped up off their seats and headed onto the pitch to congratulate their dad and the team on their victory.

And there were a few familiar Irish faces among the team raising the flag during the celebrations including Anthony Forde, Eoghan O’Connell, Tom O’ Connor and Luke McNicholas and physio Kevin Mulholland.

Meanwhile, while the boys were making their mark on the pitch the club’s owners were up to mischief.

With Rob’s birthday looming his work partner in crime Ryan decided to go all out for his big day – marking a historical tragedy as well.

Posting a video online Ryan said ‘It felt like Rob’s birthday was today but apparently it’s tomorrow. I’m posting because it’s now the 14th in Wrexham and I’ll bet people are still up! Happy Birthday Rob and LGF and Wrexham!’

Ryan when it comes to keeping us laugh, you certainly hit the spot!
