In weniger als 50 Tagen startet die Europameisterschaft in Deutschland.

Die Europäische Fußball-Union UEFA stellt gut sechs Wochen vor Beginn der EM in Deutschland ein großes Ticketkontingent zur Verfügung. Von Donnerstag 11.00 Uhr an können mehr als 100.000 Karten für diverse Spiele über die offizielle Ticketplattform gekauft werden. Das teilte die UEFA mit. Die Anzahl der verfügbaren Tickets unterscheide sich von Spiel zu Spiel. Nach mehreren Verlosungen können Fans die Karten nun direkt kaufen.

Die zusätzliche Tranche wurde durch drei Faktoren möglich. Zum einen werden Tickets angeboten, die bereits im März und April über die offizielle Wiederverkaufsplattform angeboten wurden. Die Finalisierung der Sitzpläne in den Stadien ist zudem abgeschlossen worden, wodurch weitere Plätze entstanden sind.

Außerdem soll es laut UEFA einen beträchtlichen Teil an vergünstigten Karten für Plätze mit Sichteinschränkung geben. Insgesamt standen vor der ersten Verkaufsphase im vergangenen Jahr 2,7 Millionen Tickets zur Verfügung.
