Taco Bell are bringing back a fan-favorite to the menu
Taco Bell is set to delight fans by reintroducing a beloved item to its menu for a short period. The fast-food giant is rolling out its Nacho Fries once more, but this time they’re spicing things up.
In collaboration with Secret Aardvark, the Portland-based hot sauce specialists, Taco Bell has whipped up an exciting new version of their fries.
Revealed back in February at Live Mas Live, the revamped Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries are infused with the heat of the hot sauce company’s Serrabanero sauce, incorporating green tomatoes, fire-roasted tomatillos, and a fiery mix of serrano and green habanero peppers, all married with a tangy ranch sauce.
These tantalising fries are dusted with Mexican seasonings and heaped with succulent slow-cooked chicken, a trio of melted cheeses, light sour cream, warm nacho cheese sauce, and fresh pico de gallo. Starting April 25, foodies can indulge in this spicy treat for $4.99.
This marks the 11th comeback of the Nacho Fries, as announced by the restaurant chain.
Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s chief of global food innovation, expressed her excitement: “We’re thrilled to bring back fan-favorite Nacho Fries for their 11th return, in a whole new way, with an extra flavorful partnership with Secret Aardvark. Secret Aardvark’s dedication to bold flavors and culinary innovation makes them the perfect partner for Taco Bell and our iconic Nacho Fries. Together, we’re taking flavor exploration to new heights, ensuring our fans experience the ultimate taste sensation with every bite.”, reports the Mirror US.
In another development, an exclusive offer was announced by the company specifically for select Taco Bell Fire Tier rewards members.
“The exact details of the Tuesday Drop will be a secret until the drop goes live, so Fire! Tier Rewards Members are encouraged to visit the app on April 23 to learn more,” the company advised.
Earlier this year, in February, the fast-food chain unveiled its Cantina Chicken Menu, breaking away from its usual offerings by introducing oven-roasted chicken. This shredded meat is seasoned with a tantalising blend of Mexican spices, pasilla, plus other chillies.
The addition of cheesy Chicken Crispanada, Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Cheesy Street Chalupas, Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato, plus Cheesy Enchilada Dipping Tacos to the menu also made headlines.
