Sowt Media Acquires Rising Giants Network
Jordan-HQ Arabic podcast network Sowt Media, Inc., has completed its acquisition of UAE-based competitor Dubai’s Rising Giants Network (RGN).[1]
By joining forces, Sowt hopes to broaden its audience and keep producing excellent podcasts that appeal to listeners.
Rising Giants Network, renowned for its innovative podcasting approach, brings a trove of talent and top-tier content to the Sowt Media fold.
The renowned content producer Mais Mohammad and Emirati personality Abdulla Al Nuaimi both host returning RGN programs, including “Lahza ma Mais” and “Kursi al Athnein” (Monday’s Chair). Notably, DUBAI TV recently picked up the video version of “Kursi al Ethnein” for broadcast.
This marks Sowt’s second acquisition, following its 2022 procurement of Finyal Studios, a Dubai-based podcast studio specializing in fiction content.
The latest acquisition received backing from the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), although financial specifics were not disclosed publicly.
Sowt Media, Inc. delivers a diverse array of inspiring, educational, and entertaining stories that resonate deeply with audiences across the Arabic-speaking world.
