As the Westlife lads jet off to continue their Wild Dreams world tour one singing sensation will be sorely missed.
Mark Feehily left fans around the world devastated after he was forced to pull out of a series of upcoming summer gigs because of his health.
The Starlight singer thanked his fans for all their well wishes since his announcement and he expressed his sadness that he could not join his fellow bandmates in Denmark.
Sharing a sweet picture with his daughter Layla on his shoulders, he wrote: ‘I’m watching old Westlife concerts online wishing I was there with all of you.’

He made the unfortunate decision to take a step back from performing for the next while as he requires surgery.
The Sligo singer left fans crushed after he announced the news on social media and he seemed heartbroken by it too.
Mark explained that he will be taking time over the summer months to just recover.
He said: ‘There is nothing to worry about I promise, but under doctor’s orders this surgery needs to happen sooner rather than later.’

Announcing the sad news, he acknowledged his own devastation over how things have panned out, writing: ‘We have five shows taking place this summer from May-July and it is with deep regret that I will not be able to join Shane, Kian, and Nicky on stage.’
The post comes as a shock to fans who were looking forward to seeing the band, however, they are rallying in support of Mark and his health-conscious decision in the comments under the post.
Addressing them directly, he penned: ‘To all our amazing fans in Denmark, Sweden, Mexico, Cardiff, and Henley, I want you to know that I was very excited to see you all and perform this is something that can’t be avoided.’
Encouraging positivity, he also added that fans will still ‘have the time of your lives’ at the tour, stating that he will be there ‘in spirit’.
One fan wrote an emotional message, saying: ‘Speedy recovery Mark 🥰 and as much as I missed you in the 3Arena in December the boys did a fantastic job’.
Many followers appreciated that Mark shared the information himself, with one fan thanking him for his honesty: ‘You will be missed Markus but the important thing is your health, so take care & rest up. Thanks for letting the fans know first hand & not through the grapevine.’

Mark was forced to pull out of a series of gigs in the UK and further afield last year after he came down with a nasty bout of pneumonia.
He was ‘flying without wings’ back in January as he was given the go-ahead by his doctor to return to performing.
While we’re saddened to hear of Mark’s health update, we wish him a speedy recovery and that he will be fit to return to the stage soon!
