Real Sociedadin ykkösmaalivahti Álex Remiro on herättänyt Manchester Unitedin kiinnostuksen, kertoo Marca.

Manchester United teki viime kesänä paljon puhuttaneen muutoksen tolppiensa välissä. David De Gea jätti seuran vapaana agenttina. Manchester United hankki korvaajaksi André Onanan Internazionalesta yli 50 miljoonalla eurolla.

Onanan kausi on ollut hyvin kaksijakoinen. Syyskausi meni pahemman kerran penkin alle, mutta Onana on parantanut peliesityksiään kevään mittaan. Manchester United on kuitenkin päästänyt tällä kaudella 48 otteluun peräti 81 maalia.

Manchester United ei ole toistaiseksi päättänyt, aikooko se uudistaa jälleen maalivahtiosastoaan. Jos Manchester United päätyy hankkimaan uuden maalivahdin, katseet kääntyvät kohti Remiroa.

Remirolla on sopimuksessaan 70 miljoonan euron ulosostopykälä. Manchester United ei ole valmis maksamaan kyseistä summaa ja haluaisi ennemminkin neuvotella Real Sociedadin kanssa hintaa pienemmäksi.

Remiro, 29, kuuluu Espanjan A-maajoukkueeseen. Maalivahti debytoi maajoukkueessa maaliskuussa.
