The body of a young man has been found in waters in a national park in the NSW Illawarra region.
The 26-year-old is believed to have slipped on rocks in the Budderoo National Park on Friday night plunging into the Blue Pool below.
After emergency services were alerted to the incident near Robertson at about 8.30pm, a search began involving police, paramedics, and the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
It wasn’t until about 2.45am on Saturday morning that police divers found the man’s body in the water.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
