One of the most consistently dominant college football programs of the 2020s is making a hard push for one of the top 2025 quarterback recruits in the country. Four-star Matt Zollers is down to just four schools, but the Georgia Bulldogs are starting to make him a priority since offering him in January according to On3.
“What stands out most is the stability,” Zollers said. “Coach Smart and coach Bobo aren’t going to leave Georgia. A lot of head coaches say they wouldn’t leave. It’s pretty rare for a position coach to be like dead set that they’re not leaving. He’s been there for a while, he went to school there. He’s been to his fair share of places and this is where he wants to be. That’s nice.”
Zollers comes in as the No. 3 quarterback and the No. 17 overall recruit in the country according to On3, however their industry rankings list him as a top-90 2025 recruit and the No. 8 quarterback in the class.
Zollers is also considering the Penn State Nittany Lions, Pitt Panthers, and Missouri Tigers in addition to the Bulldogs.
