A man has allegedly been stabbed to death at a share house in Melbourne’s southeast.
Police confirmed they were called to a property in Petrie St, Frankston following reports a man had been injured about 3am on Wednesday.
Sergeant Julie-Anne Newman said the man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Forensics investigators have been spotted going in and out of the property, which has been described as a rooming house, to gather evidence throughout the morning.
The man’s body was taken away from the scene about 10am.
Another resident of the share house told the Herald Sun the victim, known as Chris, was a nice guy who mostly kept to himself.

Police are yet to say if anyone has been arrested over the incident.
