Married at first sight star Luke Dawson informed his fans that he had fallen ill recently as he thanked them for their support.
Posting to his Instagram, the 37 year old reality star explained his absence as he gave his followers an update.
He wrote: “Hi everyone, I haven’t been very well this past week. Will start posting again very soon. Watch this space.
“Thank you for your continued support, a lot of good people in this world”
After a week long break from social media, Luke had returned to call out trolls that targeted his ex-wife Moran Crichton.

After the pair first wed on the show, Morag and Luke’s relationship was criticised as her treatment of him was looked down upon by fans.
Morag had posted about the hate comments she was receiving after this breakup, saying: “Who would be okay waking up to the most horrific messages and comments. It’s hard and debilitating.
“The hardest thing is YOU DONT KNOW ME! You think you do but you don’t. People have a lot to answer for. I don’t have to to justify who I am to you. Because I know who I am and so people that know me.
I’m not perfect. I’ve never claimed to be. And I’m not looking for sympathy. But I’m still human.”
Luke was quick to back Morag on his own page, posting in her defence after hearing that she was suffering abuse following their split after the show.
Luke wrote: “Let me make this very clear. I will NEVER condone any abuse, threats or any vile comments made to Morag or any of my fellow cast.
“Please leave her alone, let her move on as I hand on heart wish her and her family happiness.
“Please support her and leave her be please!”
Since leaving the show, Luke spoke exclusively to OK! About his interest in finding love, but admitted he had “trust issues”.
He said: “I think it’s been hard for me at the moment because I’m afraid that if I get into a relationship and it doesn’t work out how that would look.
“Trust issues, who can I trust? And how would I meet that person because I’m not venturing out, I’m not going out every night, I’m not gonna meet someone in the pub.
“So yeah I am really open to meeting someone but I don’t know how. There’s no rush.”
