Alman havayolu şirketi Lufthansa, “Son Nesil” (Letzte Generation) isimli iklim aktivistlerinden havalimanlarında yaptıkları eylemler nedeniyle 740 bin euro tazminat talep ediyor.

İklim aktivistleri 13 Temmuz tarihinde Hamburg Havalimanı’nda kendilerini piste yapıştırmıştı.

İklim aktivist grubu “Son Nesil” (Letzte Generation) Almanya’daki havalimanlarında organize ettiği protesto eylemleri nedeniyle tazminat talebi ile karşı karşıya. Lufthansa’ya bağlı havayolu şirketi Eurowings “Son Nesil” (Letzte Generation) isimli iklim aktivistlerinden 740 bin euro tazminat talep ediyor.

Alman Bild am Sonntag gazetesinin haberine göre tazminat talebinin nedeni iklim aktivistlerinin Hamburg, Düsseldorf ve Berlin havalimanlarında organize ettiği protestolar.

Haberde Lufthansa verilerine göre sadece Hamburg havalimanında 13 Temmuz tarihindeki protesto eyleminden 57 uçuş etkilenirken 8 bin 500 yolcu da mağdur oldu. Sadece bu eylemden dolayı Lufthansa 400 bin euro tazminat talep ediyor. Konu ile ilgili 10 sanığa ödeme talebine dair mektup gönderileceği belirtiliyor.

Lufthansa’nın aynı tarihte Düsseldorf havalimanındaki protestodan da 24 uçuşun, başkent Berlin’deki Brandenburg havalimanında ise Kasım 2022’de yapılan bir eylemden 35 uçuşun etkilenmesi nedeniyle tazminat talep ettiği belirtiliyor. Lufthansa Düsseldorf’taki eylem nedeniyle 220 bin euro talep ederken Berlin Brandenburg havalimanındaki eylemden dolayı da altı sanıktan 120 bin euro tazminat talebinde bulunduğu belirtiliyor.

Havacılık Güvenliği Yasasında değişiklik

Gazeteye göre Hür Demokrat Partili (FDP) Federal Ulaştırma Bakanı Volker Wissing Havacılık Güvenliği Yasası’nda protestolar nedeniyle bir sertleştirmenin “mümkün olan en kısa sürede” yapılacağını açıkladı.

Bu noktada yine FDP’li Adalet Bakanı Marco Buschmann ile görüş birliği içinde olduklarını açıklayan Wissing “Havalimanlarındaki operasyonları sekteye uğratmak için yapılan protestolar, meşru protesto sınırını aşıyor. Bunlar hafif suçlar da değil” ifadelerini kullandı.

Almanya, 2045 yılı itibarıyla iklim nötr olmayı hedeflerken, “Son Nesil” grubu Almanya’nın 2030 yılında fosil yakıtları kullanmayı bırakmasını talep ediyor.
