Players in the mood for an action-adventure title don’t have to look much further than the following indie gems.
Free the Spirits
After the tutorial, in which you learn how to control your character, you will be released into the wide and beautiful world of Sky: Children of the Light. The player’s main goal is to search for Spirits. By helping them, you can free and meet them at the end of the current realm. In addition to thanking you for saving you, these Spirits will also give you rewards or sell you useful items, so it’s always worth seeking them out.
Look for Candles
In addition to Spirits, you will also often find Candles in different locations. By lighting them, players can light their way and also receive the currency of the same name. Candles are necessary for trading with Spirits. Of course, they often sell cosmetic items to customize your character, but these can also be key items needed for quests or freeing other Spirits. Moreover, you can use Candles to buy Hearts, another Sky: Children of the Light currency. You will need it to improve your relationships with your friends.

Visit Realms Multiple Times
Each realm in Sky: Children of the Light contains various quests and puzzles. Some of them can be solved right away, but some require you to release a certain Spirit or obtain an item. What’s more, the Spirits you need may be in the next realm. If you cannot cope with a particular puzzle, it’s okay not to get fixated on it. Just progress further and then come back to it later.
Teamwork Is Essential
While some puzzles can be solved solo, most require the work of multiple players. In addition, exploring the game world is much more fun and easier with friends since you can help each other. For example, by staying near to a friend, you can recharge your energy. But finding teammates may be more difficult than it seems.
Becoming Friends Takes Time
While exploring the realms of Sky: Children of the Light, you may encounter other players in ghost form. In this form, you cannot interact with each other. Therefore, you need to use your Candles to warm each other. This way, both players will take on material form and be able to play together. However, at this stage, your communication is limited by expressions, which are emotions that can be acquired from the Spirits. But the more you improve your relationship, the more features you will unlock.
These were all the beginner tips and tricks that you should know before starting Sky Children of the Light. Follow them, and you will be able to explore the realms much faster and more easily.
