Luann de Lesseps is returning to one of the true passions in her life.
On Wednesday, The Real Housewives of New York City star announced she is heading out on the road for a holiday-themed cabaret tour dubbed A Very Countess Christmas.
The tour kicks off with several shows at the supper club, 54 Below, in New York City, beginning on Nov. 30, and ending with a stop at the Hard Rock in Tampa, Florida on Dec. 28.
The A Very Countess Christmas tour is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, who’s resume includes working with Barbara Streisand and Bernadette Peters
She’s also working on the show with legendary musical director/arranger Billy Stritch, who has previously worked with Liza Minelli.
To help get into the holiday spirit, de Lesseps is slated to release a new song titled What Do I Want For Christmas?
In early August, she took to Instagram and revealed that her new ‘#Christmas song will be out this fall, just in time for my Christmas tour!’
The Connecticut native delved into the cabaret lifestyle in 2017, which led to her very own show, Countess And Friends, that she performed at Manhattan’s 54 Below.
She admitted that cabaret has had a positive impact on her life, noting back in June 2019 that it helped keep her sober.
‘That’s where I thrive the most and where I don’t want to drink because I get so much pleasure and joy doing my shows,’ de Lesseps told PEOPLE. ‘It makes me happy.’
Over the years, she has released a number of songs that have been streamed and downloaded tens of millions of times, including Money Can’t Buy You Class, Chic C’est La Vie, Girl Code, and Feelin’ Jovani.
Back in 1993, de Lesseps (born LuAnn Nadeau) earned the title of ‘countess’ when she married French entrepreneur and aristocrat Count Alexandre de Lesseps.
They have two adult children together: Noel and Victoria, 26,
They would eventually divorce in 2009, but she was able to retain the courtesy title up until she married second husband Tom D’Agostino Jr, in 2016. The now former couple ended up separating the following year, finalizing their divorce in August 2017, resulting in her losing her ‘countess’ title in the process.
The 56-year-old is an original castmember of The Real Housewives Of New York, appearing in every season since the show’s premiere in 2008, all the way through the most recent season 13, which just wrapped up on September 4.
