Former city manager files lawsuit in federal court
NEWTON FALLS, Ohio (WKBN) — Former Newton Falls city manager Pam Priddy is suing the city for her removal of office last month.
The suit was filed Tuesday in federal court. It specifically names law director Jeff Limbian and Councilwoman Julie Stimpert.
According to the complaint, Priddy is suing the city for breach of contract, civil conspiracy and retaliation in violation of the Family Medical Leave Act.
She is seeking damages for lost wages, emotional distress, and other damages for $25,000 per claim.
