A commuter was threatened with a screwdriver at a major North London station before his attackers made away with his electric scooter. Two men had approached the victim shortly after 3am on February 23, 2023, at West Hampstead London Underground station before robbing him and fleeing the scene.
The British Transport Police have now released CCTV images of two men they believe may be able to help them with their investigation. In a statement, they said: “ Do you recognise these men?
“Officers are today issuing CCTV images after a man was robbed of his electric scooter at West Hampstead railway station. At just after 3am on February 23, two men approached the victim and threatened him with a screwdriver before taking his electric scooter and leaving the station.
British Transport Police officers are appealing for information on these two men
“Officers would like to speak to the men in the CCTV images as they may have information that can help their investigation.”
Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016 quoting reference 63 of 23 February.
