Gute Nachrichten für unseren östlichen Nachbarn: In Österreich ist die 7-Tage-Inzidenz der Corona-Fälle deutlich gesunken. Am Sonntag endet der Lockdown für Geimpfte und Genesene. Ungeimpfte müssen weiterhin die Ausgangsbeschränkungen beachten.

Der Lockdown in Österreich endet in der Nacht zum kommenden Sonntag nur für die Geimpften und Genesenen. Das haben Bundesregierung und Länder am Mittwoch beschlossen. Ungeimpfte müssen weiterhin die Ausgangsbeschränkungen beachten.

Die Öffnung werde begleitet von einem «Mindeststandard an Schutzmassnahmen», um einem neuerlichen Anstieg der Corona-Infektionen vorzubeugen, sagte Kanzler Karl Nehammer (ÖVP). Es seien «Öffnungsschritte mit Sicherheitsgurt.»

Flickenteppich von Massnahmen

So gelte in Innenräumen eine FFP-2-Maskenpflicht. Die Gastronomie müsse eine Sperrstunde von 23 Uhr beachten. Die Nachtgastronomie und die Après-Ski-Lokale bleiben nach den Worten von Gesundheitsminister Wolfgang Mückstein (Grüne) geschlossen. Den Bundesländern stehe es frei, strengere Auflagen zu erlassen, hiess es. «Wir werden die Massnahmen verschärfen, wenn man sich nicht an die Regeln hält», kündigte Nehammer an. Der Lockdown für Ungeimpfte könne dann sofort enden, wenn genügend Menschen geimpft seien.

Es kommt in der nächsten Woche zu einem regionalen Fleckenteppich von Massnahmen. So hat die Stadt Wien bereits angekündigt, dass Gastronomie und Hotellerie erst eine Woche später wieder Gäste empfangen dürfen. Die Bundesländer Tirol, Vorarlberg und das Burgenland wollen grossflächig öffnen. «Die vierte Welle ist gebrochen», sagte Tirols Landeschef Günther Platter. Das Bundesland Oberösterreich will bis zum 17. Dezember komplett im Lockdown bleiben. In den Bundesländern Salzburg, Niederösterreich und Steiermark sollen Hotels und Lokale am 17. Dezember öffnen.

Betriebe drängten auf Öffnung

Der Handel kann am 13. Dezember wieder öffnen. Kultureinrichtungen dürfen bis zu 2000 Gäste begrüssen, sofern es zugewiesene Sitzplätze gibt. Sport ist mit 2G-Nachweis möglich.

Der 20-tägige Lockdown seit 22. November war eine Konsequenz aus der massiven vierten Corona-Welle. Die Sieben-Tage-Inzidenz lag zu Beginn der Massnahme bei 1100 pro 100 000 Einwohner. Inzwischen ist sie auf etwa 530 gesunken. Handel, Gastronomie und Hotellerie hatten massiv auf eine Öffnung gedrängt. Sonst sei das so wichtige Weihnachtsgeschäft völlig verloren.

Die Bundesregierung warb erneut massiv für das Impfen bereits vor der für Februar geplanten Impfpflicht. Die Zahl der Impfungen war über Wochen deutlich angestiegen. Inzwischen sind knapp 68 Prozent der Bürger gegen das Coronavirus vollständig geimpft. Im Gegensatz zu früheren Ansagen verzichtete die Regierung diesmal auf allzu optimistische Formulierungen, was die nächste Zukunft angeht. «Die Pandemie lässt keine Versprechen zu», sagte Mückstein.
